Operations - Part Time

Applications are currently being accepted for the part-time position of Operations at the Dalton Convention Center.  Qualified candidates will be responsible for operating automotive and mechanical equipment, providing manual labor, and assisting the Operations Supervisor as necessary.  Schedule varies requiring daytime, nights, weekends, and some holidays.  The candidate can have any combination of education and experience equivalent to the completion of high school.  Candidate must posses a valid driver’s license and have forklift experience. Janitorial - Part Time

Applications are currently being accepted for the part-time position of Janitorial at the Dalton Convention Center.  Qualified candidates will be responsible for building janitorial duties.  Hours vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. Food & Beverage Server - Part Time

Applications are currently being accepted for a part-time position as a Food & Beverage Server at the Dalton Convention Center.  Qualified candidates will be responsible for setting tables for events, serving drinks, clearing tables, washing dishes and concession stand duties. This is an as-needed position. Starting pay is $11.00 hour.

Maintenance Supervisor - Full Time

Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Building Maintenance Supervisor at the Dalton Convention Center.  Minimum starting rate for this position is approximately $20.58 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.  This is a working position and requires strong time management.  This is a full time position with full benefits.  Responsibilities include supervising the cleaning crew ordering supplies, and scheduling staff.  Maintenance responsibilities include electrical repairs and connections, maintenance of the HVAC/ boiler units, plumbing, and mechanical equipment such as carpet and concrete floor cleaners, kitchen equipment including stoves, dishwashers, and steamers.  Electrical knowledge is preferred.
